The Internship Program is designed to cultivate future talent for our rapidly growing organization, offering experiential on-the-job learning, a dynamic environment, access to business leaders, and a supportive team. We’re seeking a Finance Summer Intern to join our business in North America during the summer. You will provide Finance support for North America operations, assist with the close process and various analyses, and ensure all reporting deadlines are met while collaborating with the Finance Team and other functions. You will also work on projects that support Finance’s continuous efforts to standardize and streamline processes. The Finance Summer Intern typically works for one of the following teams: Commercial Finance or Operations Finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide both regular (daily/weekly/monthly) and ad-hoc reports to help strategic decision-making for the business
• Build and send monthly management reports
• Support business unit and finance director/analysts on various analyses
• Complete projects directly linked to the Finance Team efficiency initiatives
• Provide intern report out at conclusion of role to steering committee

Qualifications

• Pursuing a BS in Finance or Business or related field required
• Interested in Avery Dennison's Early Career Program post graduation
• Previous internship/co-op experience or relevant work experience in manufacturing (a plus)
• Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills, and experience in building financial models (a plus)
• Involvement through student organizations or volunteerism/similar activities
• Must have reliable transportation to and from work
• Sponsorship is not available now or in the future

Additional Information:

• The hourly salary for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hour based off where you are at academically. The salary range represents what Avery Dennison reasonably expects to pay for this position as of the date of this posting. Actual salaries will vary within the range based on factors including skills, experience, education, training, location, job scope, and travel requirements.
