Greenhouse Capital is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Finance Intern to join their dynamic team. This is an exceptional opportunity for aspiring finance or accounting professionals to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of Venture Capital and Private Equity.

In this role, you will be instrumental in supporting the finance department with a variety of crucial tasks. You will prepare and record essential journal entries, assist in the preparation of key financial statements like Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow Statements, and support vital reconciliation processes.

Your responsibilities will also include processing vendor invoices, performing financial variance analysis, and helping to prepare audit schedules. This internship offers direct mentorship from experienced professionals and real-world exposure to growth equity finance operations within a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and record journal entries (accruals, prepayments, OpEx).
• Assist with Balance Sheets, Income Statements, and Cash Flow Statements.
• Support bank reconciliations, AP/AR matching, and intercompany transactions.
• Help prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation.
• Process vendor invoices and perform financial variance analysis.

Qualifications

• Degree (pursuing or completed) in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field.

• Solid grasp of double-entry bookkeeping, debit/credit mechanics, and financial statements.

• Proficiency in MS Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, formulas).

• High numerical accuracy, analytical mindset, and strong communication skills.

• Familiarity with accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite) is a plus!
