Key responsibilities

Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting and cash-flow management for the Group

Oversee accounting, consolidated financial reporting (IFRS) and statutory audits

Manage treasury, banking relationships, funding and working capital

Ensure compliance with tax and regulatory requirements (VAT, withholding tax, PAYE, pension and other statutory obligations)

Strengthen internal controls, cost control, inventory valuation and risk management
-
Analyse performance by business unit and advise the GMD and Board on investment decisions

Lead, mentor and develop the finance team

Qualifications and experience
-
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field

Professional qualification required: ACA/ICAN, ACCA, CPA or CFA

Minimum 6 years’ progressive finance experience in manufacturing, FMCG or retail, or in oil and gas, energy, fintech or similar industries
-
Experience with multi-entity financial management, inventory and cost accounting
-
Strong knowledge of IFRS and Nigerian tax and regulatory requirements

Strong ERP and financial-modelling skills
