Finance & Cost Controller at Givanas Group of Companies
Finance & Cost Controller for our Margarine Manufacturing Plant Project in Ibadan.
The successful candidate will manage project financial reporting, cost control, budget monitoring, cash-flow planning and financial reconciliation.
Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain project cost-control and financial reporting systems.
- Track approved CAPEX budgets, commitments, expenditure and forecasts.
- Review contractor invoices, payment certificates and supporting documentation.
- Prepare cash-flow forecasts, cost reports and budget variance analyses.
- Maintain accurate accounting records and support financial reconciliation.
- Maintain project asset-capitalisation records.
- Work with procurement and project teams to monitor financial commitments and payment requirements.
- Support audits, project close-out and final financial reconciliation.
Requirements

Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a relevant discipline.

Minimum of 6 years of relevant finance and cost-control experience, preferably within industrial projects.

Demonstrable experience with CAPEX monitoring, project budgets, contractor payments and financial reporting.

Strong analytical, reconciliation and financial control skills.

Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.

A relevant professional accounting qualification is an advantage.
