Job title: Finance Controller – Colombia (IT Services | Telecom Sector)
About the Role The Finance Controller will be the senior finance leader in-country for VALCE T@lent Solutions' Colombia-based IT services company serving the Telecom sector. He/she will be accountable for financial integrity, compliance, cash stewardship, IFRS and local statutory reporting, and for building a high-performing finance team capable of supporting a growing services organization. The role requires fluent English, as the incumbent will regularly interact with regional and global finance leadership, auditors, and corporate stakeholders.
What You'll Do
- Lead end-to-end financial operations for the Colombian entity, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of IFRS and local statutory reporting.
- Manage cash stewardship and drive profitability with regional partners; build and lead a 4–5 person finance team (Accounting, AP/AR, Payroll coordination, Tax coordination).
- Coordinate with LATAM Finance Head and maintain a dotted line to the Country Manager; liaise with auditors and corporate stakeholders.
- Implement robust internal controls and governance to support a growing IT services/telecom business.
What We're Looking For
- Fluent English.
- Proven experience as a senior finance leader in Colombia.
- Strong background in IFRS, local taxes, treasury, and cash management.
- Track record of building and leading a high-performing finance team; able to support a growing services organization.
- Comfortable interacting with auditors and regional/global finance leadership and other corporate stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Experience in IT Services / Telecom sector.
- Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders across LATAM.
- Knowledge of Colombia's regulatory environment.
