About the job
This will be Edison’s first dedicated finance hire, reporting to our Head of Operations. In this role you'll fully own Edison's financial operating system. Our business is growing fast: real revenue, complex deals with top pharma and bio companies, and emerging products with evolving pricing.
We're looking for someone who can build the core financial model, oversee our books, manage our compute spend, and ensure our deals align with where the business is headed. You will have your hands in all of this and have to be comfortable with defining the bigger picture and owning the day-to-day execution of small details.
This is uniquely a strategic and operational role. We want a financial generalist excited to roll up their sleeves to do whatever needs to be done. You likely have been at a start-up and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You should have a strong executive presence and can command a room. You are opinionated and unafraid to share your recommendations. You are hungry, incredibly curious, and excited to learn.
The role is in-person and based in our San Francisco or NYC office.
