Are you detail-oriented, analytical, and interested in working with costs, invoices, and reporting? We are looking for a Finance Associate OPEX to join our Finance team on a fixed-term contract as a maternity leave replacement. In this role, you will support the team in daily operational finance activities, with a focus on OPEX costs, invoice processing, data accuracy, and reporting. This position is a good opportunity for someone who already has some understanding of costs and financial processes, enjoys working with data, and is confident in Excel.

Your new work environment As a Finance Associate OPEX, you will join a collaborative Finance team of 5 colleagues dedicated to ensuring accurate and efficient financial operations. The team plays an important role in supporting the business through accurate processing of financial documentation, cost tracking, and reliable financial data. In this role, you will work closely with colleagues from finance and other departments, so accuracy, responsibility, analytical thinking, and good communication will be important for success.

Your main responsibilities include: Posting and processing incoming invoices, Issuing outgoing invoices, Validating invoices to ensure accuracy and compliance, Classifying invoices according to internal procedures, Preparing reports, Working with financial data in Excel, Communicating with relevant departments to clarify invoice or cost-related topics

Requirements

• We think you’ll be successful in this role if you have: 1 to 2 years of experience in finance, accounting, administration, or similar operational roles, Understanding of costs/OPEX processes or previous experience with invoice and cost-related tasks, Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, Ability to work quickly, accurately, and responsibly, Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel: Pivot Table, VLOOKUP, SUMIF, English language proficiency at B1 level or higher, Team-oriented mindset and proactive approach to daily tasks, Preferably experience with SAP or similar financial systems
