Job Description
Title: Junior Associate Accounts payable and Accounts receivable
Reports to: Finance Manager
Department: Accounting and Finance
Position Responsibilities:
- Ensure the TAT (Turnaround time) of AP and AR functional responsibilities are complied.
- Maintain a daily log for data processed, pending and open queries.
- Assist in creation of vendor and customer master compliances.
- Monitor and track Advances and Aging of Payables on a periodic basis.
- Prepare and submit timely reports related to accounts receivable / accounts payable activities, including aging analysis.
- Overview the vendor and customer reconciliation process and resolve any discrepancies.
- Conduct monthly reviews of indirect expenses and prepaid expenses to ensure accuracy and budget compliance.
- Work closely with finance manager and MIS team for monthly reporting deliverables.
- Aid other accounting staff in the annual external audit review process.
- Perform all deliverables as per established DOAs, Contracts and relevant guidelines / SOPs.
Position Requirements:
- MBA or Masters degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Minimum experience of 2+ years in accounts payable / accounts receivables or financial management roles, preferably in a similar industry.
- Have experience in handling team of at least 6-8 people.
- Excellent communication skills with ability to work closely with cross functional teams.
- Proficiency in English language.
- Attention to detail, organize, analyzing information and data entry skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate professionally with internal and external stakeholders.
- Previous experience in ERP systems is an asset.
