About the Role The College of Architecture, Visual Art, and Design (CAVAD) at California Baptist University invites applications for an adjunct faculty position in the Department of Film. What You'll Do
- Teach undergraduate Film program courses. Specific course assignments will be dependent upon applicant qualifications.
- Engage with students to promote learning and critical inquiry within film and cinematic arts.
- Contribute to a program that integrates scholarly instruction with the mission of California Baptist University.
What We're Looking For
- A terminal degree in Film or a closely related discipline, or significant work toward a terminal degree; significant professional experience may be considered.
- Commitment to the mission of California Baptist University and to excellence in teaching through the integration of Christian faith.
- History of quality university teaching experience or significant professional engagement in the field, and strong relational skills.
- Ability to teach within the undergraduate Film program; specific courses to be assigned based on qualifications.
