About this role

About the Role Support field test validation during Combine and Header development, including planning, leading investigations, reporting, executing tasks, follow-up, communication, and hands-on operation of field equipment. This position collaborates with global teams to ensure field procedures are robust, safe, and effective in real-world use. What You'll Do

  • Field Activity Planning and Execution: Plan field activities, make independent decisions, and execute hands-on tasks. This includes machine preparation for transport, daily maintenance, pre-settings, updates, operating combines/tractors, and providing basic training to new operators.
  • Technical Support and Product Development: Support product development initiatives and ensure proper documentation in line with PL Engineer expectations. Contribute to root cause analysis of field issues and proactively suggest appropriate containment actions.
  • Communication and Operational Support: Provide clear and structured communication to field technicians, defining actions during critical activities. Actively participate in local and global meetings related to Combines and Headers, ensuring alignment across teams.
  • Safety and Continuous Improvement: Strictly adhere to safety standards and actively contribute to the development and improvement of methods to ensure field procedures are robust, reliable, and safe.
  • Teamwork and Collaboration: Foster positive working relationships with teammates and partners across different sites, maintaining effective communication and promoting a collaborative team environment. What We're Looking For
  • Mechanical Engineer, Mechatronic Engineer, Electrical Engineer, Agricultural Engineer.
  • Problem Solving Methodology (8 Disciplines); Six Sigma methodology.
  • Be familiar with field environment and combine operation (driving, settings, configuration, general maintenance (mechanical/electric/electronic/hydraulic) and transport, ...).
  • Basic knowledge of data acquisition.
  • Technical knowledge to identify root causes and resolve issues.
  • Experience with Combine development and/or Validation Lead processes and activities in the field; flexibility and ability to adapt to challenges encountered in the field.
