Job title: Field Technical Analyst
About the Role Field Technical Analyst to monitor and optimize performance of renewables assets across the fleet, provide technical support, and ensure health and safety standards are followed.
What You'll Do
- Monitor equipment performance and review notifications in SCADA platforms.
- Ensure critical equipment performance and health is monitored.
- Provide technical support fleet-wide for behind the meter onsite solar, utility-scale renewables, and energy storage assets remotely and physically when necessary.
- Conduct Equipment Testing (Post Maintenance Testing) and support outages.
- Equipment Monitoring Support (Triage); may require site visits.
- Identify hardware and software risks and implement corrective actions.
- Collaborate with O&M contractors and Northstar employees to ensure Environmental, Health and Safety standards are followed.
What We're Looking For
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in MS Office; aptitude for learning new software.
- Experience in SCADA systems; OSISoft PI Historian preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication; good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated leadership/oversight of contractors on project work at power generating facilities.
- Experience developing short and long-range maintenance and strategic plans.
- Knowledge of building codes, permitting requirements, industry regulations, best practices, and performance standards.
- Commitment to safe work practices and company compliance.
Nice to Have
- OSIsoft PI Historian experience (preferred).
Compensation & Benefits
- Pay: $26-$28/hour DOE.
- Contract length: 6 months.
- Hybrid work arrangement in Ann Arbor, MI.
