Role Overview

This employer is seeking a Field Technician to lead installations for access control systems and network security cameras. The role involves managing multiple short-term installation projects, primarily within commercial healthcare environments such as hospitals. Candidates must possess a flexible schedule to accommodate various shifts, including days, evenings, and occasional weekends, to meet facility requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform professional installations of access control systems, including card readers and security panels.

• Install network security cameras in diverse commercial and healthcare settings.

• Travel to multiple project sites as required, utilizing a personal vehicle with mileage reimbursement provided.

• Manage and execute small-scale installation projects, coordinating timelines that range from several days to a few weeks.

• Adapt to a variable work schedule, demonstrating flexibility with day, evening, and weekend hours.

• Serve as a lead-style installation technician on-site to ensure high-quality delivery.

• Required Qualifications

• Experience: Three to five years of dedicated experience in access control and network camera installation is required.

• Technical

Skills

• Proficiency in low voltage systems, Cat 6 cabling, and general networking. Candidates must have experience programming enterprise access control systems, such as LenelS2, Genetec C-Cure, Prowatch, or similar systems. Proven ability to operate a personal vehicle for field travel and the flexibility to work varied shifts are mandatory.

• Preferred Qualifications

• Familiarity with Axis camera systems is highly advantageous.

• Experience with Lenel access control platforms is preferred.
