About the Role Volt is hiring a Field Service Technician in Melbourne, FL to support operational activities across Brevard County. This is a 12-month, full-time contract (or contract-to-hire). The role involves driving a large truck and providing on-site calibration, asset tracking, and logistics support to keep equipment moving and operations running smoothly. What You'll Do
- Safely drive a large truck across Brevard County to support operational activities.
- Provide on-site operational support across multiple Brevard locations, including calibration, asset tracking, and logistics functions.
- Coordinate asset pickup, delivery, and shipping activities to ensure timely movement of equipment.
- Track and update asset status in the METTEAM system; generate logistics and asset-related reports.
- Maintain clear communication with customers and internal teams regarding asset status and logistics updates.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments to manage asset disposition and ensure smooth operations. What We're Looking For
- Basic calibration / metrology exposure
- Logistics, inventory, or asset tracking experience
- Experience managing work orders or reports
- Microsoft Office proficiency
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to drive a large truck
- Prefer Class C driving qualification Nice to Have
- Class C driving qualification is preferred Compensation & Benefits
- Pay range: $24-26 per hour
