Job title: Field Service Technician, IC / LS
About the Role The Field Service Technician for Infection Control (Healthcare and Life Sciences) provides preventative maintenance and repair services at the customer’s establishment, working with sterilizers, washers, and other equipment. Following manufacturer instructions and using mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic knowledge, you will promote Getinge’s service and equipment offerings. This role may also involve work at high-level security facilities.
What You'll Do
- Provide preventative maintenance and repair service at customer establishments per established procedures using proper tools, test equipment and replacement parts.
- Assist with installation projects within the region in collaboration with the Lead Technician.
- Maintain service contracts and pursue renewal opportunities including identifying potential customers and providing quotations.
- Comply with health and safety codes and Getinge policies; establish positive relationships with customers and Getinge personnel.
- Maintain competence through training, document all activities, manage expenses and inventory, and protect assets and equipment.
- Provide on-call services where applicable and perform other related duties as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- 3-5 years of relevant field service experience, including high-volume environments.
- Strong troubleshooting and technical skills; able to work with sterilizers, washers, and related equipment.
- Ability to travel internationally (Passport required) and drive a company vehicle with a clean record.
- Excellent verbal and written communication; ability to manage time/resources within a territory and work in a team selling approach.
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Office skills; bilingual in French and English (asset).

- Experience with infection control equipment and field service in healthcare or life sciences.
