About the Role Join AB Energy France S.a.r.l. as a Field Service Technician responsible for maintaining and repairing electrical and mechanical systems at client sites, including generator sets and balance-of-plant equipment. The role requires hands-on troubleshooting, field service reporting, and collaboration with the Service Area Manager to ensure continuous plant operation and customer satisfaction. What You'll Do
- Provide technical support to troubleshoot and resolve electrical problems, including generator sets and balance of plant equipment.
- Maintain, analyze, diagnose, troubleshoot and repair equipment within OEM scope at client sites; perform minor and major overhauls.
- Assist the Service Area Manager (SAM) with parts and labour estimates; establish and review service vehicle tooling/parts requirements.
- Complete detailed Field Service reports before leaving client site and submit expenses weekly to the SAM.
- Proactively prepare material lists for preventative and corrective work; review materials and inform SAM/purchasing if more are required.
- Act as the client reference point, ensuring continuous and correct operation of the plant; keep the plant clean and well-maintained. What We're Looking For
- Technical diploma/degree; minimum 3-5 years of experience in maintenance.
- Good knowledge of electrical and mechanical drawings.
- Good knowledge of human-machine devices such as PLCs, inverters, transducers, digital and analog signals (e.g. 4–20 mA and 0–10 V).
- Engine, mechanical and hydraulic knowledge; familiarity with troubleshooting tools.
- Flexibility; availability to travel (average nights out 10 per month).
- Driver's License; work authorization in the country. Compensation & Benefits
