Job title: Field Service Technician

About the Role As a Field Service Technician in the Albany, NY area, you will provide maintenance and repair services for Getinge's high-technical medical devices at customer sites. You will use your mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic expertise to perform scheduled maintenance and respond to service requests while ensuring compliance with industry regulations and internal procedures.

What You'll Do

• Provide maintenance and repair services at customer establishments, following manufacturer’s instructions and using knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance on a wide array of high-technical medical devices and machines.
• Maintain compliance with industry regulations, regulatory body policies and internal operating procedures and work instructions.
• Instruct customer personnel in the operation and proper use of equipment and provide user training as needed.
• Respond to emergency repair requests; juggle priorities and be flexible with your time.
• Collaborate with Getinge teams and participate in company vehicle program, with provided credit card and phone.

What We're Looking For

• Experienced field service professional with mechanical, hydraulic, and electronic equipment skills; experience with high-technology medical devices preferred.
• Strong customer orientation and ability to communicate clearly with hospital and life science customers.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, adapt to changing schedules, and travel to customer sites as needed.
• Knowledge of industry regulations, regulatory body policies, and internal procedures.
• Military avionics or electro-mechanical experience will be highly considered.

Compensation & Benefits

• Base salary range: $37-$45 per hour USD.
