Job title: Field Service Technician
About the Role The Field Service Technician provides mechanical and electrical support at customer locations for troubleshooting and repairs of complex and sophisticated products, commissioning equipment, and coordinating vendor and customer schedules.
What You'll Do
- Set up, adjust and operate complex test equipment to determine the nature of the problem.
- Assist in the startup of completed products at customer locations.
- Maintain complete and accurate records of time spent traveling and on-site work.
- Perform mechanical repairs in conjunction with electrical repairs.
- Troubleshoot and repair complex mechanical and electrical products.
- Install machinery.
- Coordinate vendor and customer schedules as needed.
What We're Looking For
- High School Diploma required; minimum 5-10 years of related industry experience.
- Associate degree in mechanics or electronics preferred.
- Ability to perform mechanical and electrical repairs and work with test equipment.
- Willingness to travel extensively (80-90%), with potential weekends, holidays, and overseas travel.
