Job title: Field Service Engineer
About the Role
The Field Service Engineer will install, maintain and service Videojet equipment at customer sites across Ireland. This is a customer-facing role that involves troubleshooting, installation and ongoing support to ensure production lines operate efficiently. The role is ideally based in the Dublin region with flexibility to travel across the territory, and may involve overnight stays depending on customer needs.
What You'll Do
- Installing and commissioning Videojet equipment at customer sites
- Performing maintenance, servicing, and troubleshooting on installed equipment
- Supporting product demonstrations and trials alongside the sales team
- Building strong customer relationships through excellent service and technical support
- Identifying improvement opportunities or service needs during customer visits
- Managing service cases from diagnosis through resolution with a strong sense of ownership
What We're Looking For
- Experience in field service or technical service roles within an electrical, mechanical, or electromechanical engineering environment
- Strong electromechanical troubleshooting skills in industrial or production environments
- Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively across the assigned territory
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple service tasks and customer needs
- Experience with industrial coding and marking technologies (CIJ, laser coding, labeling, or similar systems) would be advantageous but is not essential.
