Job title: Field Service Engineer - South Central Linx
About the Role The Field Service Engineer will install, service, repair, and maintain Linx coding and marking products across the UK. Based in Reading, you’ll travel to customer sites across the Midlands and beyond, with occasional nights away, to ensure products operate to the highest standards.
What You'll Do
- Respond to breakdowns on customer sites, quickly performing maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure products operate to required standards.
- Strive to maintain and grow customer relationships through excellent service and communication and implement any necessary corrective actions.
- Timely and professional handling of field service calls and issues during visits.
- Travel daily to and from your home address to customer sites across the Midlands and further afield when required; occasional nights away.
What We're Looking For
- At least two years’ experience in a technical/engineering customer service or field service role.
- Proven track record of field service in a customer-focused environment with problem solving experience in electronics/electro-mechanical or relevant technical discipline.
- Full UK driving licence.
- Passion for success, eager to develop as a Field Service Engineer and commit to a long-term career with Linx/Veralto, based in Reading.
