Job title: Field Service Engineer (RP大阪)
About the Role Field Service Engineer is responsible for on-site field operations within the assigned area, including installation, inspection, repair, maintenance, and related billing activities, aiming to maximize customer satisfaction and the business value of GE Healthcare products. The role also involves enhancing technical capabilities, including clinical knowledge, to support effective operation of healthcare services in medical facilities, and earning the trust of customers. You will work with the sales team to contribute to service share and build strong partnerships with affiliated distributors to establish a region-based business.
What You'll Do
- Hospital-based medical devices (imaging diagnostic equipment) installation and deployment at customer sites.
- Maintenance, inspection, and fault repair to ensure stable operation, along with associated billing tasks.
- Communicate with customers to maintain and improve satisfaction.
- Escalate customer complaints to internal and external stakeholders and drive issue resolution.
- Proactively discuss and implement improvements discovered during work with relevant internal parties.
What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years of field service experience in electricity/electrical/mechanical domains; for non-experienced candidates, basic knowledge of electricity/computers/networks.
- Ability to explain events logically to customers.
- Ability to develop and implement ideas to improve operations.
- Ability to read manuals and accurately perform inspection and repair tasks.
- Ability to escalate issues observed at customer sites to appropriate internal/external parties and drive resolution.
- Ordinary driver's license.
Nice to Have
- X-ray Work Supervisor qualification.
- English proficiency.
