Job title: Field Service Engineer – North of Scotland
About the Role A dual-role Field Service Engineer position with Nilfisk in the North of Scotland, combining product demonstrations and installation at client sites with field service to ensure equipment runs smoothly on customer sites.
What You'll Do
- Demonstrate and install Nilfisk products at client sites and provide staff training.
- Travel to customer sites across Northern Scotland to keep operations running smoothly.
- Complete repairs within contracted service level agreements; perform follow-up calls to install additional parts; carry out Portable Appliance Tests (PAT) and scheduled maintenance.
- You’ll be equipped with a van, mobile phone, iPad, and uniform; working Monday–Friday.
- Demonstration/Installation: liaise with sales to deliver equipment to customer sites; maintain demonstration machines; present and train clearly to groups.

- Strong understanding of industrial cleaning equipment and ability to troubleshoot and repair various machines.
- Effective communication with clients and strong customer service mindset.
- Ability to analyse problems and develop effective solutions in a timely manner.
- Time management and prioritisation; ability to meet deadlines.
- Attention to detail; perform repairs and maintenance to a high standard.
- Adaptability to different work environments and machine types; work well with others.
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: starting from £32,000 per year, dependent on experience.
