Job title: Field Service Engineer - Life Science

About the Role Join Getinge as a Field Service Engineer - Life Science in Taiwan to perform on-site service, preventive maintenance, and urgent repairs on Life Science products. You will support customers, collaborate with Sales and Contract teams, and help ensure life-saving technology remains accessible and compliant with Getinge standards.

What You'll Do

  • Conduct scheduled service and preventive maintenance visits per contract documentation and maintenance agreements.
  • Perform urgent repairs quickly and efficiently, including onsite and/or remote support for Life Science products.
  • Support other Life Sciences Service colleagues and Getinge colleagues on service-related matters.
  • Provide technical and operational support as needed.
  • Prepare service reports for repairs, maintenance, and service visits.
  • Prepare and complete Work Orders and Maintenance Reports in a timely manner using Salesforce service asset management software.
  • Provide feedback from customer contacts, escalate complaints to Service Team Manager or Bio-processing Service Team Manager as appropriate.
  • Participate in internal or external training courses.
  • Manage parts stock inventory, including ordering service parts and quarantine/return of defective parts.
  • Manage, monitor, and maintain assigned service tools and materials, including calibration of test equipment.
  • Ensure correct application of standards and regulations per Getinge QMS.
  • Provide feedback on quality deviations.
  • Promote the Getinge brand, service, and image.
  • Ensure availability of service tools and materials.
  • Ensure service activities are performed in accordance with customer SLA.
  • Ensure correct application of ESD safety provisions.
  • Maintain positive relationships with customers for service-technical matters, including owning customer sites.

What We're Looking For

  • Technical and operational knowledge suitable for Life Science service and on-site maintenance.
  • Ability to perform on-site and remote support for Life Science products.
  • Experience with service contracts, maintenance reporting, and using Salesforce (or similar service asset management software).
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer relationship skills.
  • Experience with parts inventory management and calibration of test equipment.
  • Knowledge of QA/QMS and ESD safety provisions.
  • Willingness to participate in internal/external training.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
