About the Role A highly skilled UPS Field Engineer is needed to apply an in-depth knowledge of UPS start-up, testing, and operations. This role involves commissioning, maintenance, and emergency support for power electronics at customer sites, primarily in the Las Vegas, Nevada region. What You'll Do
- Conducts commissioning-focused design reviews, prepares test procedures, and participates in startup testing for UPS systems.
- Perform commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and emergency support for power electronics at customer sites.
- Travel to customer sites in the Las Vegas area as needed for field service. What We're Looking For
- 3+ years UPS field service experience
- OEM factory training required
- Able to lift 100 lbs
- Valid driving record
- Willing to work nights/weekends and be on-call Nice to Have
- Familiarity with UPS components and power equipment brands: Emerson, Liebert, Vertiv, APC, MGE, Schneider Electric, Eaton, Powerware
- Experience with batteries, PDUs, STSs, and other UPS subsystems
