About the Role Field Service Engineer responsible for on-site professional field technical service on Getinge ACT & SWP products in the assigned territory, with focus on ICU/OR equipment. The role involves installation, inspection, commissioning, validation, repair, preventive maintenance and user training to ensure equipment reliability and customer satisfaction. What You'll Do
- Routine servicing of GETINGE equipment on-site: installation, inspection, commissioning, validation, repair, preventive maintenance and user training for Ventilator, Anesthesia, ECOM, Tables, Ceiling Supply Units, etc. within territory.
- Identify potential service contract opportunities and facilitate signing/renewal of service contracts.
- Provide spare parts ordering support and assist with accounts receivable.
- Document all activities per service policies, including customer complaints and adverse event feedback.
- Participate in service process improvement and service brand building to continuously improve customer satisfaction.
- Protect company assets and maintain test equipment, spare parts inventory, and other company equipment in good condition.
- Maintain positive, professional communication with customers, sales, regional teams, technical support and project management.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
- Perform other related duties as assigned. What We're Looking For
- An associate degree in Mechanical, Electronics, Industrial Automation, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, Information Technology, Instrument and Meter, Detection Technology and application or equivalent.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in a field service role in medical devices/pharmaceutical industry, technical repair or related technical field; background in Ventilator, ECMO and IABP preferred.
- Ability to read and understand English-language electrical drawings and technical documentation.
- Customer oriented with critical thinking and problem-solving abilities; strong self-study and team spirit.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Well-organized; able to carry out tasks with minimal supervision.
- Basic to intermediate Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook skills.
- Proficient in using schematics, system diagrams and repair/replacement procedures.
- Knowledge of AutoCAD and OR3D preferred.
- Genuine interest in people; able to deal with customers in a friendly manner, even under stress; provide excellent service.
- Self-motivated; able to work flexibly and under pressure in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to cultivate positive rapport with customers; courteous and professional communication at all times.
- A valid driver's license is a plus. Nice to Have
- AutoCAD and OR3D experience (preferred).
