About the Role To provide service activities for medical equipment in healthcare environments, based at customer sites in South East Asia. As the primary field contact for technical service, you will ensure customer satisfaction and effective case resolution while working as part of a collaborative team. What You'll Do
- Provide preventive maintenance and repair service at customer locations in accordance with Getinge's procedures, techniques, tools, test equipment and replacement parts.
- Install, commission, calibrate, and test relevant equipment at customer locations according to Getinge’s protocol.
- Implement Field Corrective Actions.
- Handle administrative work associated with service delivery.
- Be responsible for customers’ complaints and provide support for corrective maintenance.
- Meet key KPIs for you and for the Service department.
- Establish and maintain professional relationships with customers and co-workers; share knowledge and provide advice to clients and end-users on proper operation and usage of the equipment.
- Be hardworking, a team player, independent, hands-on, customer oriented and maintain a positive attitude.
- Demonstrate good presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Company and/or Manager. What We're Looking For
- ITE and/or Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
- 3 years’ working experience in field service for industrial equipment.
- Experience in healthcare or pharmaceutical industries is a plus.
- Basic understanding of mechanical and electrical systems; ability to interpret service manuals and follow maintenance guidelines; strong communication and customer service skills.
- Fluent in both verbal and written English.
- Personal and social attributes required to perform the job.
- Ability to work at field sites, with adherence to hospital infection control and safety policies where applicable. Nice to Have
- Experience in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry is a plus.
Note: This position is field-based with travel to customer sites; occasional travel as required.
