About the Role Based in Tokyo, the Field Service Engineer will handle on-site installation, inspection, and maintenance of Getinge-sold surgical tables, surgical lighting, and ceiling supply units to ensure safe, reliable operation. You will perform proactive maintenance to prevent faults and provide rapid, on-site support during issues to ensure patients receive safe treatment. What You'll Do
- Install, commission, inspect, and maintain surgical tables, lighting, and ceiling supply units to ensure proper operation and performance.
- Propose preventive maintenance plans and provide timely technical support to customers.
- Respond quickly to faults with on-site visits, diagnose root causes, and replace parts as needed to restore operations safely.
- Coordinate with office engineers and customer contacts to handle inquiries and inspection requests, delivering rapid, reliable support.
