Job title: Field Service Engineer
About the Role Field Service Engineer will perform on-site field activities within the assigned area, including installation and commissioning of medical imaging equipment, preventive maintenance, fault repair, and related invoicing. The role aims to maintain and improve customer satisfaction and support healthcare service operations, and to work with the sales team and local partners to expand service presence in the region.
What You'll Do
- New installation and commissioning of medical imaging equipment (radiology devices) in hospitals.
- Conduct preventive maintenance and fault repairs to ensure stable operation; handle related invoicing.
- Communicate with customers to improve satisfaction and maintain service quality.
- Escalate customer issues to appropriate internal/external stakeholders and drive issue resolution.
- Proactively discuss and implement improvements identified during work with internal teams to improve operations.
- Collaborate with sales to increase service share and maintain strong relationships with partner dealers to anchor the business in the region.
What We're Looking For
- 1–2 years of field service experience in electrical/mechanical systems; or if not experienced, basic knowledge of electricity/computers/networks.
- Ability to explain logically to customers the events that occur.
- Ability to take initiative, propose and execute operational improvements.
- Ability to read manuals and perform inspections and repairs accurately.
- Ability to escalate issues at customer sites to the appropriate parties and drive resolution.
- Valid driver's license (ordinary automobile license).
- English ability is a plus.
Nice to Have
- X-ray Work Supervisor qualification.
- English proficiency.
