Job title: Field Service Engineer – Esko
About the Role Field Service Engineer – Esko is a field-based role based in the Philadelphia area, supporting customers across a regional territory. You will install, maintain, and repair advanced CDI laser engraving and XPS UV exposure systems, and deliver hands-on training while ensuring operations run smoothly.
What You'll Do
- Install and commission CDI laser engraving and XPS UV exposure systems at customer sites
- Deliver hands-on training to customers on system operation and maintenance
- Perform electrical, mechanical, and optical troubleshooting to resolve complex issues
- Execute preventative maintenance and system upgrades to maximize uptime
- Serve as a primary technical point of contact, building strong customer relationships
- Travel extensively within your region and across the U.S. to support customer sites
- Travel expectations: Regional travel (car) ~60%, Domestic travel (air) ~40%, Overnight travel ~65%
What We're Looking For
- Technical training or equivalent hands-on experience with industrial equipment
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (AC/DC, relays, motors, signal flow)
- Solid mechanical aptitude, including precision adjustments and assembly
- Experience working with PC hardware and Windows-based systems
- Ability to work independently while delivering excellent customer service
Nice to Have
- Experience in printing, packaging, or platemaking environments
- Basic networking knowledge (troubleshooting connected systems and peripherals)
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $29.00 - $33.00 USD per hour
