About the Role Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is seeking a Field Service Engineer to independently install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair Beckman Coulter equipment for customers. This role is fully remote; you must reside within 60 minutes of Jacksonville, FL and may travel within the assigned geography as needed. What You'll Do
- Troubleshoot, install, perform preventative maintenance, and service repair on Beckman Coulter equipment, delivering excellent and efficient service and providing technical training on products.
- Maintain accurate customer service logs and internal service records, order repair parts, and adhere to cycle times.
- Utilize business systems such as OBI, Salesforce, and SharePoint for service call planning and advancing team goals.
- Engage with internal and external stakeholders, understanding and meeting their requirements, while also helping train newer Field Service Engineers. What We're Looking For
- Associate’s degree, Military experience, or equivalent experience. Applicants with applicable military experience will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
- 1-year experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, robotics, electronic equipment, and/or instrumentation.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record over the last three years; ability to travel; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs; physical ability to bend, stoop, twist, crouch/crawl, push/pull, and sit/stand for extended periods; ability to reach at/below/above shoulder level; good hand/finger dexterity.
- Must reside within 60 minutes of Jacksonville, FL for this role. Nice to Have
- 2+ years’ experience in advanced troubleshooting, installation, validation, preventative maintenance, modifications and/or service repair.
- Experience developing positive business relationships with internal and external stakeholders to increase customer satisfaction and retention.
- A technical college major such as biomed, engineering, or related. Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: $36-40/hr; hourly rate. This role is eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
