About the Role As a Field Service Engineer, you’ll bring the technical discipline, precision, and equipment expertise developed in the military to ASM’s advanced semiconductor tools at customer sites. This early-career role includes structured training from day one and opportunities for long-term growth within ASM as you support tool uptime and customer success.

What You'll Do

  • Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair ASM semiconductor equipment at customer sites.
  • Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and process issues in collaboration with senior engineering staff.
  • Deliver responsive, customer-focused service with a strong commitment to safety and operational discipline.
  • Work in cleanroom environments while following strict safety and quality standards.

What We're Looking For

  • Military or veteran experience with mechanical, electrical, or electronic systems; strong problem-solving and real-world troubleshooting skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field; technical discipline aligned with field service.
  • Ability to apply engineering background to semiconductor tools and equipment.
  • Willingness to work the listed shifts (Shift 4: 6pm–6am, Sun–Tue and every other Saturday; Shift 6: 6pm–6am, Wed–Fri and every other Saturday) and to travel to customer sites as needed.
  • Comfortable working in customer sites and potential cleanroom environments.

Nice to Have

  • Experience maintaining avionics, electronics, propulsion, navigation, communications, radar, robotics, or similar military systems.
