Job title: Field Service Engineer
About the Role As a Field Service Engineer, you will install, adjust, and maintain equipment in customers' cleanrooms, helping drive business success. For experienced candidates, you may also contribute to process development and improvement projects to optimize operations.
What You'll Do
- Install, upgrade, and maintain semiconductor process equipment in customer facilities, following all safety procedures and prioritizing safety and quality.
- Communicate with customers to deliver efficient and consistent support.
- Analyze equipment log data and prepare customer-facing reports using MS PowerPoint, MS Word, and MS Excel.
- Maximize tool uptime and ensure installation and hardware issue support.
- Manage new evaluation projects and be accountable for project success.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as a Field Service Engineer in a related industry.
- Strong communication skills to liaise with customers.
- Business-level Japanese (JLPT N2 or higher).
- English reading/writing ability (TOEIC around 600).
