About the Role ASM is seeking a Field Service Engineer to install, adjust, and maintain semiconductor process equipment in customers' cleanrooms in Japan, contributing to business success and ensuring high levels of safety and quality.
What You'll Do
- Ensure all safety procedures are strictly followed and prioritize safety and quality while installing, upgrading, and maintaining semiconductor process equipment.
- Communicate with customers to promote efficient and consistent support.
- Analyze tool log data and prepare customer reports using MS PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
- Maximize tool uptime and reliably perform installation and hardware issue resolution.
- Manage new evaluation projects and drive project success.
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience as a field service engineer in a related industry.
- Strong communication skills to facilitate smooth customer interactions.
- Knowledge of semiconductor manufacturing equipment.
- Business-level Japanese (JLPT N2+) and English reading/writing proficiency (TOEIC ~600).
