Job title: Field Service Engineer (4 on 4 off) - Chester/Wrexham
About the Role NoteMachine (a BRINK's company) is expanding its national engineering base. You’ll be a hands-on, customer-focused Field Service Engineer delivering reliable cash access across our ATM network while providing excellent service.
What You'll Do
- Perform second-line break-fix and preventive maintenance on ATMs (Triton, Wincor, NCR).
- Collaborate with customers to identify and resolve technical issues to fit service requirements and enable on-time machine provision.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring professional treatment of customers and stakeholders.
- Accurately document all service transactions and maintain detailed records of repairs or replacements.
- Stay up-to-date with product knowledge and industry trends through ongoing training and development.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure repairs meet company standards.
What We're Looking For
- Field Service Engineering experience with electro-mechanical systems.
- ATM experience is ideal but not essential.
- Drive to deliver on daily calls and fix things right first time.
- Valid UK driving licence (max 6 active points).
- Methodical, problem-solving mindset.
- Clear, confident communication & customer service skills.
- Willingness to travel and work weekends/holidays on rotation.
- No live or spent IVAs or bankruptcies in the last 10 years.
Nice to Have
- ATM experience is ideal (beneficial).
- Experience with Triton, Wincor, or NCR ATMs (optional).
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary: £36,419 starting per year
- Up to £1,000 onboarding bonus (dependent on experience and paid on passing probation)
