About the Role
The Field Officer will supervise and coordinate daily field operations, ensuring drivers and trucks operate safely and efficiently while meeting assigned trip and delivery requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise drivers and monitor daily trip activities.
- Track truck movements, status, and operational availability.
- Ensure drivers comply with company and 7UP operational policies.
- Monitor safety practices and report safety incidents promptly.
- Coordinate and escalate truck breakdowns and other operational issues.
- Monitor delivery activities.
- Prepare accurate daily operational reports using provided tools.
- Ensure proper handover between shifts.
- Liaise with drivers, supervisors, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Ensure operational issues are properly documented and followed up.
- Support the achievement of daily and monthly operational targets.
Requirements
- Minimum qualification: ND, HND, or https://t.co/cqTb3tLWTm.
- Must communicate effectively in English.
- Hausa language is an added advantage.
- Must be willing and available to work Monday–Sunday according to operational requirements.
- Must be comfortable working a 24-hour operational shift (8 AM–8 AM).
- Ability to work under pressure and respond appropriately to unexpected operational situations.
- Basic computer skills and ability to prepare reports.
- Ability to maintain accurate records and provide proper shift handovers.
