Job Description
Roles & Responsibilities
- Review actual sales versus targets, budgets, and latest estimates, ensuring accurate accounting cut-offs and adjustments (including in-transit transactions) as part of monthly reporting.
- Prepare and analyze business unit P&L performance, create monthly CFO decks with trend analysis, variance commentary, and early indicators based on stakeholder inputs.
- Manage the BPC MIS closure process, ensuring completeness and accuracy for quarterly performance reviews across both IGAAP and IFRS reporting structures.
- Support business teams in setting annual financial targets and budgets, perform variance analysis and scenario modeling, and facilitate strategic plan P&L projections.
- Review accounting estimates tied to revenue recognition, perform annual impairment testing, and monitor pricing and discounting trends with financial impact assessments.
- Track and present key financial KPIs and scorecard metrics for the business unit and individual marketing teams using monthly dashboards and performance highlights.
- Provide benchmarking insights by comparing internal financial metrics with industry peers, conduct cost/sales competitiveness analysis, and lead productivity initiatives and ad hoc business assessments.
- Spearhead finance automation efforts within the BU, enhance process efficiency, and support top management with strategic finance projects and performance optimization programs.
Qualifications

Educational Qualification
-
Certifications such as Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA), Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Certified Management Accountant (CMA), Chartered Accountant (CA), or equivalent are mandatory.

Bachelor's in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent is preferred.

Critical Exposures

3+ years of experience in:

Leading financial planning function for a BU/geo-market/manufacturing unit for one country/entity

Managing financial accounting, Internal Audit, central reporting team, or Investor Relations for a market/BU
-
Exposure to financial plans, predictive analysis, forecasting, projections, and sharing complex performance reports with Management, Board Members, shareholders, investors, or regulatory authorities

Exposure to financial modeling, valuations, and scenario building in mergers and acquisition projects

Exposure to advanced Business Intelligence tools (Tableau, Power BI)
