Job title: Field Maintenance Technician
About the Role The Field Maintenance Technician role in BRINKS' Field Operations team is responsible for first-line preventive and corrective maintenance on operational equipment. Based in Bandung, Indonesia, the position emphasizes safety, asset/data confidentiality, and close coordination with operations, monitoring, and vendor teams.
What You'll Do
- Perform preventive maintenance and first-level corrective maintenance according to SOP.
- Handle initial troubleshooting on machines/perangkat operasional.
- Perform reset, cleaning, light-part replacement, and function testing.
- Document and report work results, incidents, and spare parts usage via the system/work report.
- Escalate to Second Level Maintenance (SLM) when required.
- Ensure compliance with safety, health and security (K3) requirements and asset/data confidentiality.
- Coordinate with the operations, monitoring, and vendor teams.
- Support installation, relocation, or removal of devices as assigned.
What We're Looking For
- Education: SMK/D3 Teknik (Elektro/Mekatronika/IT or equivalent).
- Experience: 0-2 years in maintenance/technician; fresh graduates considered.
- Basic understanding of mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting.
- Willingness to work shifts, on-call, and mobile.
- SIM C/A possession (an advantage).
- Competencies: basic problem solving, discipline & meticulousness, good communication, ability to work independently and in a team.
