About the Role

• We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented, and highly independent Field Inspection Manager to oversee market inspection and verification activities across assigned locations.
• The role is responsible for ensuring accurate market penetration sampling, compliance of merchant promotional materials, and verification of top merchant tagging.
• The successful candidate will oversee field inspection operations, coordinate market coverage, review inspection findings, and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.
• The role requires frequent travel across cities, strong analytical capabilities, high integrity, and the ability to maintain independent oversight of field activities.

Important Information:

• This role focuses strictly on field inspection, market verification, compliance monitoring, and reporting. It does not involve business development, merchant acquisition, sales activities, or following up on corrective actions by BD staff.
• The Field Inspection Manager is expected to maintain complete independence, objectivity, and integrity in all inspection activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee market penetration sampling and verification across assigned markets.
• Manage field inspection activities to ensure effective coverage of designated markets.
• Inspect and verify merchant promotional materials to ensure compliance with established company guidelines.
• Validate the accuracy of top merchant tagging across assigned markets.
• Coordinate inspection schedules and ensure each market is covered within seven days before proceeding to the next location.
• Review field inspection reports, photographic evidence, and supporting documentation for accuracy and completeness.
• Identify operational gaps, discrepancies, and non-compliance, and escalate findings to the appropriate management team.
• Ensure inspection findings are accurately documented and submitted within stipulated timelines.
• Maintain independence and objectivity in all inspection activities, avoiding favoritism toward Business Development (BD) staff.
• Ensure adherence to established inspection standards, procedures, and reporting requirements.
• Provide management with accurate market insights and inspection reports to support operational decision-making.
• Monitor the quality and consistency of field inspection activities across assigned locations.
• Ensure proper documentation and maintenance of inspection records.

Requirements

• Minimum of HND or BSc Degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in field operations, quality assurance, inspection, operational audit, or a related function.
• Previous experience managing field inspection activities or coordinating multi-location operations.
• Strong analytical, reporting, documentation, and organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to identify operational discrepancies.
• High level of integrity, honesty, accountability, and professional judgment.
• Ability to work independently and maintain objectivity in inspection activities.
• Strong leadership, coordination, and problem-solving capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.
• Willingness to travel extensively across cities and assigned markets.
