About this role
Location: Skelmersdale, Up holland, Tarleton, Ormskirk, Aughton, Banks, Burscough & Wrightington.
Pay: £28,496 per annum (based on 40 hours per week) plus 30p per mile fuel allowance
Shifts: Full-time and part-time positions available (9 am – 5 pm) , with an element of on-call duty including alternative weekends.
Driver required: Yes - full UK licence and access to your own vehicle

What you’ll do

As a Senior Care Assistant, you’ll support the delivery of high-quality, person-centred care across our community services, leading by example in the field and supporting both service users and care colleagues.

You’ll combine hands-on care with supervision and quality assurance, spending most of your time in the community with some office-based duties.
You’ll:

● Support and review individual care packages, including needs and risk assessments
-
● Work with Care Coordinators to support effective rota planning
-
● Supervise, mentor, and support Care Assistants in the field
-
● Shadow new starters and carry out observations and competency checks
-
● Take part in multi-disciplinary reviews and complete accurate records
-
You’ll be a trusted senior presence, helping to maintain high standards of care and support team development.
