About the Role This is a field-based sales role with AbbVie focused on executing brand strategy, driving territory performance, and building strong customer relationships to place the patient at the center of initiatives. What You'll Do
- Deliver sales performance, brand KPIs, financial targets, and marketing objectives to meet or exceed goals within assigned territory.
- Create pre-call plans using SMART objectives and conduct post-call evaluations to continuously improve sales effectiveness.
- Handle objections and drive action to close on sales calls; proactively address customer needs and challenges to achieve win-win outcomes.
- Develop and execute call plans to optimize coverage and frequency with key customers to maximize access and sales opportunities.
- Gather and share market intelligence on customer needs, territory landscape, competitors, and disease states with in-field team, brand team, and sales manager to align strategy.
- Differentiate AbbVie’s value proposition with providers and identify disease-state experts and speakers/advocates to maximize brand performance. What We're Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in health, sciences, pharmacy, or business-related field preferred or equivalent experience; relevant industry experience required; five or more years of experience in lieu of degree; three or more years in pharmaceutical/health/science preferred; high school diploma/GED required.
- Proven track record of success in selling with strong presentation skills; ability to identify customer style and adapt selling approach; offers innovative ideas to maximize opportunities.
- Influences others; credible and respected; builds collaborative partnerships; leads by example and demonstrates positive behaviors.
- Documented leadership and experience with increasing responsibility at district/region/organizational levels; uses insights to develop sales strategies.
- Preferred: track record in sales performance within therapeutic areas; experience in physician/account-based selling, training, managed care, or marketing; English proficiency; HCIR credentialing requirement to access facilities.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and meet safe driving requirements. Nice to Have
- Knowledge of immunology, oncology, or neuroscience therapeutic areas is a plus. Compensation & Benefits
