About the Role Avnet is hiring a Field Application Engineer to drive design wins by delivering the design chain value proposition for customers in product development. The role interfaces with customer and supplier engineering teams and carries out a mix of product, technical and engineering activities. Responsibilities include pre/post-sales support, research, design and development. What You'll Do
- Proactively develop and implement the technical sales account penetration strategy in each market, presenting new products and technologies to customers.
- Interface with the engineering departments of customers and suppliers.
- Perform a variety of product, technical and engineering functions including but not limited to pre/post sales support, research, design and development. What We're Looking For
- Experience in field application engineering or technical sales in a related technology domain.
- Ability to interface effectively with engineering teams across customers and suppliers.
- Strong technical knowledge and communication/presentation skills, with a proactive results-oriented mindset.
