About the Role
The Allegro team is seeking a Field Application Engineer to join our Indian Sales team based in Bengaluru, India. This role provides local technical support to South region customers and supports Automotive, Personal Mobility and Industrial segments. You will collaborate with FAEs, marketing and product application teams across territories to identify and communicate new product requirements from customer feedback. From time to time, you will also provide technical product training to Allegro's sales organization and franchised distribution network.
What You'll Do

Provide technical value to Indian customers who integrate our motor drivers, analog and digital magnetic sensors, DC/DC converters and lighting circuits.

Support design-in and technical closure activities, collaborating with product and system engineering teams across Allegro's BUs.

Strong focus to support distributor partners.

Support our customers and distributors in their development of electronic systems.

Develop the best technical and commercial solution for a given project.

Identify potential problem areas and actively manage the solution.

Develop and maintain strong relationships with your customer base.

Assist in the development of responses to RFQs.

Provide customer feedback to Strategic Marketing and System Engineering teams to define the next generation of products.

What We're Looking For
-
Degree in Electronics Engineering.

5+ years of working experience in Electronics/Automotive industries; experience as FAE in semiconductor industry would be an advantage.

Good communication skills with ability to develop credible and high-impact technical presentations.

Self-motivated and goal oriented; self-starter, able to work with minimum instructions.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications; preferred software capabilities (e.g., CAD, MATLAB).

Fluent English, Hindi.

Willingness to travel locally and internationally.
