About the Role Guidehouse is supporting the U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) to consolidate and improve its grants system, with a focus on the post-award phase of the federal grants lifecycle. The Managing Consultant will apply process-improvement expertise and strong client-facing skills to help DOT enhance its grant processes. What You'll Do
- Lead the development of high-quality client deliverables that meet client requirements
- Serve as a subject matter expert in post-award federal grants management, including monitoring, compliance, reporting, and closeout activities aligned to federal regulations
- Manage and provide guidance, coaching, and quality assurance to junior staff
- Identify, analyze, and improve business processes
- Work with diverse stakeholders to fully understand business processes What We're Looking For
- Experience in process improvement and the federal grants lifecycle, particularly the post-award phase
- Strong critical thinking skills
- Experience in client interaction and facilitation
- Demonstrated experience delivering solutions
