Job title: Federal Client Manager

About the Role The Federal Client Manager will handle day-to-day project management for Mountain Point in the Gulf Coast region, coordinating planning, integration, monitoring, and execution of all project activities to meet schedule, budget, and quality requirements. This role involves maintaining technical communications and client relationships, overseeing self-perform work and subcontractors, and serving as the on-site liaison with Government Contracting Officials. Reports to the Sr. Vice President of Construction and supports project management, personnel mentoring, and business development.

What You'll Do

  • Plan, schedule, organize, direct and control assigned construction projects from start to finish according to schedule, specifications and budget.
  • Manage and oversee self-perform work and work by subconsultants and subcontractors; direct daily activities of subcontractors and vendors to ensure contract compliance, safety, and quality.
  • Maintain client communications in the Gulf Coast Region and provide senior management with project status, issues, and milestones.
  • Monitor and report schedule variances, appraise impact, and recommend and implement corrective actions.
  • Liaise with Government Contracting Official on-site and ensure compliance with contract documents, safety rules, and quality/security requirements to maximize production and minimize disruptions.
  • Ensure construction schedule and budget are kept in accordance with the plan; support the Contractor Health and Safety Program.
  • Provide senior management of projects, personnel, and clients with focus on project management, mentoring, and business development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to balance workload.

What We're Looking For

  • Experience in construction project management with ability to plan, schedule, coordinate, monitor, and drive project activities to plan.
  • Ability to manage self-perform projects and oversight of subcontractors/subconsultants; strong vendor management.
  • Experience serving as on-site liaison with Government Contracting Official and ensuring compliance with contract documents; knowledge of safety and quality requirements.
  • Strong communication, leadership, and mentoring skills; ability to support business development.
  • Willingness to work across multiple states in the Southern United States.
