About the Antioch College Farm
The Antioch College Farm uses ecological agriculture to provide an integrated context for liberal arts learning. A small, public-facing farm and a College-wide asset, it serves as an outdoor classroom and living laboratory that connects student work to campus dining and the wider Yellow Springs community. The Farm includes diversified annual crops in fields and hoop houses, pastured poultry, livestock grazing on the campus solar arrays, orchards and perennial food forests, and native prairie, all managed with organic and ecological methods. It supplies campus dining, sells to the local community, and hosts courses, certificate and summer programs, volunteer days, tours, workshops, and events.
