Job Title: Family Medicine Resident
Location: Kogi
Job type: Full-time
The Position
- We are seeking applications from suitably qualified and committed medical doctors for the position of Family Medicine Resident.
- The Resident will be responsible to the Head of the Family Medicine Department/Residency Programme and will provide clinical care within the scope of their level of training and clinical privileges.
Qualifications & Experience
- MBBS degree from a recognized medical school.
- NYSC Discharge or Exemption Certificate.
- Current practicing license with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria (MDCN).
- Success in the Primary Examination of the West African College of Physicians (WACP) or the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (NPMCN) will be an added advantage.
- Compassionate, respectful, and patient-centred in the delivery of care.
- Able to work effectively under pressure in a busy clinical environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to function effectively as a member of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
- Commitment to continuous learning, professional development and clinical excellence.
- Ability and willingness to work in a rural and underserved setting.
- Commitment to supporting the vision, mission and values of ECWA Hospital Egbe.
