Schedule:

  • Weekday daytime hours, with occasional weekends for hosted events
  • Initial training period: 1 day per week, 5–8 hours per day
  • Long-term: 2 days per week, 4–5 hours per day

Compensation: $35 - $40 per hour

Start Date: ASAP

Requirements

  • Smoke-free and fragrance-free while on the job

  • Authorized to work in the United States

  • Reliable personal vehicle; mileage reimbursement for work-related travel

  • Ability to navigate a 1.5-story home with stairs throughout the day

  • Respect for the family’s privacy and willingness to sign an NDA

  • About Our Family

  • We are a warm, welcoming couple in North Dallas who value organization, professionalism, and a home that feels both beautiful and well-managed. We enjoy hosting family, entertaining guests, and celebrating the seasons with thoughtful details throughout our home. Our sweet golden doodle is an important part of the family, and we love spending time with our granddaughter when she visits.

  • With busy schedules, ongoing household projects, and plenty of moving pieces, we are looking for someone who can bring greater structure, organization, and consistency to our day-to-day lives. We have many ideas in motion and would love the support of someone who naturally takes initiative, creates practical systems, and turns plans into completed tasks.

  • Our goal is to build a collaborative, long-term relationship with a proactive professional who welcomes fresh ideas and confidently takes ownership of responsibilities.

  • We already have a trusted cleaner and landscaper in place, so this role focuses on the things that tend to fall through the cracks — errands, meal prep, seasonal transitions, and vendor coordination. Our standards are high, and the relationship is built on trust and discretion.

  • Who You Are / What We’re Looking For

You bring an executive assistant’s mindset to the home: you anticipate needs, manage details with precision, and keep things running seamlessly behind the scenes. You likely bring:

  • A gift for turning busy to-do lists into clear, manageable action plans
  • Exceptional attention to detail and the judgment to reprioritize when plans shift
  • Confidence owning responsibilities from start to finish without constant direction
  • Polished communication, proactive updates, and comfort with shared digital calendars and task systems
  • A creative eye for seasonal details, hosted gatherings, and occasional professional events
  • Emotional intelligence and a calm, steady presence

Key Responsibilities

  • Because this is a part-time role, not every task below will happen every week. Each week’s focus will vary based on our schedule and priorities. As the working relationship grows, there is potential for additional hours and responsibilities.

  • Meal Support

  • Weekly high-protein, grab-and-go breakfast prep (egg bites, overnight oats)

  • 1–2 dinners per week with leftovers in mind, following autoimmune and diabetic guidelines

  • Grocery delivery orders from a provided list

  • Kitchen cleanup

  • Household Organization & Maintenance

  • Light resets on scheduled days

  • Seasonal décor transitions, including decorating, cataloging, and storing (collaborative at first)

  • Closet organization

  • Consignment or donation drop-offs

  • Guest and holiday prep

  • Unpacking support after travel

  • Patio upkeep, including bringing in cushions ahead of rain

  • Inventory & Errands

  • Dry cleaning and tailor runs

  • Returns, and gift pickups

  • Taking pool water samples in for testing

  • Maintaining inventory of pantry items, holiday china and décor, and pool supplies

  • Vendor & Property Oversight

  • Serve as the point person for the cleaner, landscaper, contractors, and window cleaners including coordinating home access, ideally on working days

  • Document contractor work with photos and written follow-up

  • Schedule seasonal maintenance and repair quotes

  • Pet

  • Schedule grooming and vet appointments for our dog

  • Provide transportation for vet appointments if needed

  • Administer ear medication

  • Vehicle Care

  • Schedule vehicle maintenance

  • Coordinate fueling or cleaning as requested.

  • Family & Travel Support

  • Maintain a family birthday and anniversary calendar and a small gift closet

  • Help with logistics when our granddaughter visits

  • Provide creative support for hosted gatherings and professional events

  • Handle travel prep (packing, mail holds, dog boarding or sitter)

  • Research flight and logistics options for our review as relationship develops
