  • CPR/first aid certification preferred

  • Comfortable in a home with pets (one friendly cat)

  • Ability to navigate multiple flights of stairs throughout the day

  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.

  • About Our Family

  • We're a dynamic family with two toddlers close in age and a whole lot of love (and motion) filling our days. Both parents have demanding schedules, balancing clinic and hospital hours, work from home, and occasional travel. Outside of work, we love spending time with our kids, whether that's heading to the park on weekends or preparing to teach them to ski this winter. Our children are cared for by a full-time nanny and attend daycare a couple of mornings each week, so we're looking for someone who can focus on the household itself and help keep everything running smoothly behind the scenes.

  • We value warmth, intention, and organization, and appreciate someone who can bring structure and ease to our home. We take privacy and discretion seriously, but we're also a casual, friendly family who wants someone to feel comfortable in our space. With a parent regularly working from home, we're looking for someone who is personable and communicative while also respecting the need for quiet and focus during the work day, a light footprint.

  • As our family grows and our needs evolve, we're hoping to find a trusted partner who takes pride in their work, anticipates what needs to be done, and enjoys helping a busy household function at its best. We're not a high-maintenance family, but we are a high-functioning one, and we're looking for someone who understands the difference and is excited to grow alongside us.

  • Who You Are / What We're Looking For

  • You are someone who takes real ownership of a home — not just completing tasks, but genuinely caring about how everything comes together. You're organized without being rigid, proactive without needing constant direction, and able to prioritize on the fly. From managing laundry and maintaining household systems to coordinating vendors and preparing satisfying family dinners, you take pride in your work and follow through on the details that keep a busy household running smoothly.

  • You're personable, professional, and communicative without being overly chatty. You read a room well and know how to work independently while remaining approachable and responsive. You're comfortable coordinating with vendors, communicating openly, and handling the responsibilities of a private household with discretion and good judgment.

  • Above all, you're trustworthy, adaptable, and invested in building a lasting working relationship. You're transparent when something needs attention, reliable in following through, and comfortable adjusting as household needs change. You enjoy being around young children and can step in calmly for occasional backup childcare when needed, even though childcare isn't your primary responsibility. You're someone who brings a calm, capable presence to the home and genuinely enjoys helping a busy family function at its best.
