Job title: Failure Analysis Lead
About the Role A leader who can create and guide a failure analysis team to investigate repetitive customer claims and uncover root causes for RMA products. You will drive development of authoritative failure analysis reports and implement corrective actions to improve production quality.
What You'll Do
- Create and lead a failure analysis team to investigate repeating customer claims, uncover root causes, and enable corrective actions for all assigned RMA products
- Prepare official, logical, and authentic failure analysis reports for RMA cases
- Conduct statistics, reviews, raise improvement events, and solve problems based on failure analysis insights
- Analyze failure modes of RMA products, confirm and publish final failure in time (FIT) cases
- Contribute RMA product repair information and review RMA orders
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor or above in science or engineering
- Minimum 3 years of experience in optical communications fields such as failure analysis, manufacturing, or design
- Strong knowledge of optical communications products, failure analysis mechanisms, methods, equipment, and quality tools
- Ability to accurately determine and analyze failure causes
- Proven project leadership and management experience
- Excellent written skills for assessment or failure analysis reports
- Demonstrated ability to perform data statistics and failure analysis to initiate improvement events
- Good communication with relevant peers and groups
- CET-4 or higher, with good listening, verbal, and written skills
