About the Role A Field Applications Engineer (FAE) at Avnet in Beijing drives the design chain value proposition by helping customers generate design wins in their product designs, contributing to business growth. You will interface with the engineering teams of customers and suppliers and perform a range of product, technical and engineering functions including pre- and post-sales support, research, design and development. What You'll Do
- Proactively develops and implements the technical sales account penetration strategy in each market, presenting new products and technologies to current and potential customers.
- Interfaces with the engineering departments of customers and suppliers to facilitate design wins and align solutions with customer requirements.
- Performs a variety of product, technical and engineering functions including pre- and post-sales support, research, design and development relevant to design-in activities.
- Drives the design chain value proposition by generating design wins and registrations for customers engaged in product design, contributing to business growth. What We're Looking For
- Experience in technical sales and driving design wins within customer designs.
- Ability to collaborate with engineering teams across customers and suppliers.
- Strong communication skills to convey complex technical concepts and solutions.
- Familiarity with product design and development processes and pre/post-sales support.
