AlphaGov delivers public-sector consulting for cities, counties, school systems, special districts, utilities, and related agencies. Our work spans classification and compensation, organizational and operational studies, research and program evaluation, economic and workforce analysis, surveys and community research, and applied data and infrastructure research.
We engage experienced practitioners as project-based collaborators. Engagements are remote-first with occasional client travel. When you authorize it, AlphaGov may name you as an expert collaborator or key personnel on proposals that match your expertise. AlphaGov is engaging a Faculty Information Systems Implementation Consultant for current higher-education work. A public university is procuring a faculty information system for activity reporting, annual reviews, and electronic promotion and tenure dossiers.
We confirm scope, schedule, and fee with you before any engagement begins.
What you'll do

Map faculty activity reporting, annual review, and promotion & tenure processes

Configure FIS platforms and integrations with SIS/HRIS

Plan data migration and reporting for accreditation

Train faculty and administrators

Contribute qualifications and past-performance narrative to AlphaGov proposals when you authorize naming

Required

At least 5 years of professional experience implementing faculty information systems in higher education

Experience with Watermark Faculty Success, Interfolio, Elements, or similar

Comfortable as a 1099 project-based consultant
